John V. Orrick
John Orrick was raised in a rural area of Morris County, New Jersey. He earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Montclair State University in 1990. Following college he moved to Tampa where he attended the University of Tampa and earned a Masters Degree in Business Administration. Mr. Orrick later obtained his Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law in 2006.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Mr. Orrick spent over 17 years working for major insurance companies where he held positions of increased responsibility and leadership within the claim organizations. As a Claim Manager at Travelers Insurance Co. and The Hartford Insurance Co., Mr. Orrick was responsible for thousands of bodily injury claims throughout the state of Florida. Mr. Orrick's extensive experience and knowledge of how insurance companies investigate and evaluate bodily injury claims, often times allows him to obtain very favorable settlements on behalf of his clients.
Mr. Orrick is licensed in all Florida State Courts practicing in the areas of Personal Injury, Automobile Law, Premises Liability, Serious Injury Litigation. He has also lectured in the areas of Personal Injury Protection coverage and litigates these disputes on behalf of medical providers. In addition to being a member of the Florida Bar, Mr. Orrick is an active member of the Florida Justice Association (FJA) an organization that promotes the rights of consumers and Plaintiffs against corporate interests. Additionally, he is a member of the Tampa Bay Trial Lawyers Association (TBTLA) and the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
